Alisha Promis is a storyteller and educator who writes young adult fantasy. She is the founder of Story Gems, an online ministry that celebrates uplifting stories for children and teens and reflects her belief in the power of storytelling to nurture hearts and spark wonder. 

A lifelong educator, Alisha holds an Ed.S. in School Psychology and works in special education. She also earned a creative writing certificate from UC San Diego and completed The Next C.S. Lewis Fellowship. 

When she’s not writing or teaching, Alisha enjoys reading stories that reflect the richness of humanity, connecting with the writing community, and discovering new ways to inspire joy and curiosity in young readers.
