About Alisha Promis

A dedicated storyteller, educator & publisher, Alisha writes educational stories for children and teens. Alisha has previous experience serving as Co-Director in a writing contest for children's literature. Additionally, Alisha has experience working with students from transitional kindergarten through higher education, which shapes the heart of her stories.

Alisha's desire is to witness children & teens become lifelong learners & hopes to bridge achievement gaps by creating engaging stories & curriculum through Story Gems. As the founder of Story Gems, an independent publisher of children's stories & educational curriculum, Alisha specializes in writing stories & content geared for elementary students. She is currently working on a children's chapter book series.
